I live in Philly, a very varied city and work in a middle of the road restaurant so I see LOTS of couples. As far as black and white goes I definitely see more black guys with white women than black women with white guys. I think it's a little different, closer in ratio with the Asian/ white couples. Ive seen in one night three black dude- Asian girl couples...thot that was odd. But eventually ( not soon enough) it will become more and more ';normal'; to have interracial couples. We need to get over race and class because they are very illusionary lines we draw to falsely separate ourselves away from everybody else.
society has never been more against any other racial pairing than a black guy and a white girl. Black men were always portrayed as sexual beasts while white women were innocent and pristine. Just mentioning that a black man glanced at a white women in the south would be good cause for a lynching. maybe it is the mystique of what is so taboo that draws so many interracial couples.
Racism.Most white men are a lot more prejudice.They will have sex with black women in private but do not want to be seen with them in public.
you see, this is where racism comes from!
i mean there is no white guy going out with an asian girl. we are all humans and we are all the same, color doesnt make a difference its the intellect, nature and understanding that does.
And as far as couples are concerned, someone would like someone who have something in common or they share the same goals in life or something. but we should NOT be judging our community with racial descriptions.

Haven't you heard; opposites attract! Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder? We all have different tastes and different personalities.
There's a full class about this in psychology or sociology. You should probably take it.
It mostly has to do with the powers in relationships and general stereotypes and social norms.
Well, I'm orginally from Virginia Beach, and there were definently more black girl/white guy couples there than anything! But I'm living in NC for now, and I swear, people here act like interracial dating is the damn devil. Get over it, lol. Times change,
