Yes.. I learned about a study in my psychology class that showed that people are naturally more attracted to people who look like them (similar features, etc.) Another study showed that we like faces that we have seen more often. For instance, show a group a slideshow of different faces, and then ask them to rate what faces they liked the best. They will pick the faces that are shown more often than the others. This also translates into liking people that look like us, because we see ourselves in the mirror all the time, so if we run into someone that looks more like whtat we see int he mirror, we are morely likely to be attracted to tehm. Cool, huh?Have you ever noticed that some couples look the same?
I wonder what that means for people who look nothing like each other?

That does happen many confused my husband to be my brother:)
I haven't noticed that but my fiance and I have had people ask if we were brother and sister. We don't even look alike but we both have similar mixes. I'm Japanese and Mexican and he's Puerto Rican and Filipino. So I assume (and hope) that's why people think we're related.
I have no noticed, and I have no idea why that is so commonplace...One of my good friends is dating a guy who could be her twin. Same hair color, same eye color, same eyeshape, same cheekbones, same mouth, same complection, and there's only an inch different in their heights. When I first saw the picture she put up of them on her page, I thought it was a cousin, or her brother who I've never met.
we are app attracted to people that look similar to the faces we knew when we were babies ie our folks. so your ideal partner would look like you because you are a cross of your folks.
the other reasoning is that your soul mate is ment to resemble you so that its easier for your hearts to recognise one another
yea, i have noticed this. it is because that the statement ';opposite attract'; is not true in dating or marriage. people like similar things. this even includes facial features.
