Are there contrary studies? I think this would be relevant to the same-sex partnerships debate.
Thanks. Are there any studies about the sexual preferences, as adults, of children raised by homosexual couples?
I'm sure there are SOME studies..... but gays have not had the right to adopt kids long enough to adequately study the life-long impact of growing up in a ';gay house';.
What IS known... is that children are BEST SERVED when there is a MAN and a WOMAN in the home, and they impart on the children distinctly different traits.
This does not happen with ';single parents';.... and its doubtful that it happens in gay/les adoptive parents. Are there any studies about the sexual preferences, as adults, of children raised by homosexual couples?

You provided no evidence either.

I know of no study that claims that children raised by same sex couples turn out homosexual at a higher rate than others. If you have such a study be sure to link to the author and funding source. If Focus on the Family came up with such a study, well, let's just say I'd call bs.
EDIT: Thanks for linking the article. I suggest you first look at other things on the site. ';Embracing Islam: Empowering Radicals;'; ';Don't Tread on Me.'; Okay, I got it. This is a right wing site dedicated to misinformation. I discount anything the article has to say. If the author wants to make his point he should submit to the Harvard Medical Journal. If they publish (they won't) I'd take it seriously.
There have been decades of clinical observances to bolster a number of careful studies by such noteworthy entities as Rutgers, Yale, Harvard, Cornell Medical College, Columbia University - all of which support the contention that children raised by homosexual couples, whether gay men or lesbian women, are no more or less likely to be homosexual than are children raised by heterosexual couples.
What article?
*EDIT* - Thanks for the link. Just looking at the link is enough for me. I don't have to even click on it to know it is filled with very right-wing biased information.
Not sure what article you refer to but this popped up just today:

So kids raised in households that allow for exploration, tend to be more open later in life? Gee that doesn't make any sense at all.
I don't know. But every gay person I know had straight parents....and their straightness didn't ';rub off'; on their kids. So I doubt ';gayness'; will rub off on kids either....
