Lesbian and or gay people can't have children because it doesn't work with the same sex. And, as far as adaption, I believe there should be a law that gay or lesbian people can;t adopt children, becuase the children deserve a mother and a father, not 2 people of the same sex, it is not fair for the children to grow up without having either a mother or a father.There is no need for lesbian/gay couples to raise up children.?
this question is rude and to some people maybe even offensive.. im straight but i know two women that live together and are raising children. the kids don't call their parents ';mom'; and ';dad'; they call one ';mommy'; and the other ';momma.'; both moms are great people and responsible parents. i see nothing wrong with it. you don't have to be straight to be able to start a family. leave it alone, what are they doing thats hurting you? and to an answerer above, you don't need a male and a female parent. my dad abandon me when i was younger so for a while i only had a mom and i was fine with out a male parent.
....';Since they have ';discovered'; their true sexual orientation, as they claim, then they should hang unto it and never think of raising up children';
That statement makes no sense at all. How did you come to this conclusion? The thing that is most important in a couple or a relationship is love. The desire to start a family with your loved one is a natural feeling.
So. Your wrong.
I agree that Gay couples should not be allowed to adopt children. A child should have both a father and mother to guide them.
At the same time though, there are many male-female couples who do not make good parents and who in fact do abuse children. Sadly the news makes reports on this.
While on the surface your argument against gay/lesbian parents may please some people's politics, the best yardstick by which to measure the success of a child is to measure the child's happiness in his or her home (regardless of who the parents are) and the child's success in his or her education.
