Lesbian couples can have children using artificial insemination. You can purchase anonymously donated sperm from a sperm bank, and select your donor based on his ethnic and racial background, educational level, any talents and aptitudes he might possess, and get information about his family medical history. The only thing you won't know about him is his name and what he looks like (no photos available of the donors).





Once the sperm samples have been delivered, the lesbian couple can either arrange to inseminate the mother-to-be at the ob/gyn's office, or at home. They typically may have to repeat the process again and again over a period of months before the biological mother-to-be becomes pregnant.





Gay men can have children using a surrogate mother. They typically would advertise to find a woman willing to become pregnant by artificial insemination using sperm from one or both of the men, and bear the child, then give up her parental rights after birth. In exchange for doing this, the male couple would agree to pay all of her living expenses during her pregnancy, plus her pre-natal and birthing related medical expenses, and pay her a fee as well.How else can gay couples have children?

Besides adoption they could:


Use a sperm bank or ask a male friend to donate sperm (lesbians).


Use a surrogate mother (hire or just ask a women to carry the baby, sperm from one of the fathers - gay males).


Become a Foster Parent.


Have heterosexual sex for the purpose of conceiving.
