Yes, I really believe it. I have noticed (correlating directly to Obama's election) a distinct drop in Anti-Interracial Relationship mentalities.





I have a white guy friend and just a year ago when we hung out we got nasty looks and comments (even though we aren't dating) and now- almost nothing. In fact, people smile at us. I like it.





There will still be die hard racists sure, but many people are realizing the ridiculous futility of stopping people in love. Plus people before opposed it becuase they thought the children would be mentally retarded racially confused physically deformed mutants who didn't fit into society. How can that argument stand when the president of the US is mixed?





Of course we have to address issues in Black women's minds in order to see an increase but many of them are coming around.
Okay, first, Obama IS black. He identifys as black, so therefore he is.











And second, no. The less mixed couples I see, the happier I'll be in life.
i think we will have more mixed couples, but not becuz of Obama; maybe some ppl might go out with another race bcuz of Obama, but i dont think it will be the leading reason.

If you think about it some B/W couples date because they dont really fit in with there culture so there wouldnt be much chance in them teaching there culture or past to there kids anyway.
