How many gay couples go to your church?

How many people do you suspect or know are gay but in the closet?





Family members?How many gay couples go to your church?
I know a few but I am sure many hundred go to my church. I am sure there are some in every church.





edit -- LOL I get thumbs down on this? For what? Stating fact and answering the question? In all honesty, take a random sample of any population, (church or otherwise) and you will find gay individuals. If you say there are none in your church you are either:





a) wrong or


b) lying





Unless of course there are like 10 people in your church there are 20,000 in mine.





What's more who cares? It is between them and God. We have people in adultery in our church as well even some gossips... Sin is sin people give it a rest.How many gay couples go to your church?
Many gays go to church. Nice respectful people.
A friend of mine goes to Broadway United Methodist Church in Chicago. I was told that approximately 40% of the congregation is gay. lesbian, bisexual and transgendered.

Thumbs down? Go there yourself to that church and see that there are many LGBT people there if you don't believe me.
About half of our church is in the GLBT community. That's likely a larger percentage than in many churches, but that's likely because when someone in the community comes to us we are able to show them from Scripture why homosexuality and Christianity are not in conflict. Sadly, too few churches have really done a lot of research on the subject and many times personal prejudice takes over.
Yeah, my brother is gay, been that way all his life and yes he goes to church with his partner.

Gay people are people too!


They have the right to do anything you do.
I'm a closeted Bisexual, myself. Have been in the closet for over seven years.





I no longer go to my church, but if I had to guess, I'd say Zero.
No gay couples- I don't suspect any are gay- some have gay family members. I'll bet we all do, although I can't think of any in my family off of the top of my head. But I have a few gay friends.

I have several gay family members
Zero, though we did have a couple visit about a year ago. One of them was really nice, the other seemed to have a chip on his shoulder just wishing someone would knock it off.
I don't know any gay couples (personally) that go to my church (it's a baptist church). That's not to say that there aren't any that go. Some might be closeted..
That is two questions.


I doubt that there are any homosexual lifestyle couples in my church because Methodists know the homosexual lifestyle is a sin.


I have one close relative and one distant relative who live the homosexual lifestyle. I can figure out why each of them chose that lifestyle.
None that I am aware of
All men I know have gay inclinations. Love is Love.





Its best to be discreet and sensitive to the sensibilities of others. People have no need or deisre to hear of the sexual habits of any person, gay or hetro.





It does produce hatred amongst some. Personal reasons or bad childhood experiences of the lust of man.

I have no idea; that really never crosses my mind. I guess if they want me to know they'll tell me.
God only knows, considering that the closet isn't yet widely open.

My cousin is gay. She think its cool, but I don't think so. It's gross to be touching other girls. She is a girl.
Zero , Homosexual Christian = OXYMORON
none, they aren't really welcomed in my church.
