I am 45,my girlfriend is 46-have known each other almost 2 years.We have sex sometimes 3 times a day...is this normal for couples our age??? I didnt even have sex this much when I was a teenager or married.How often do couples in their mid 40's have sex?
In your 40's you are in your sexual prime. As for your girlfriend, you must really turn her own.





I am 53 and my husband is 47 and we go at it like rabbits! If the sex is good there is no limit to how often you can do it. It is the best way to stay healthy.

the older u get the better...be happy that your thing still works, while your wasting time asking is this normal, you could be in the room having sex 4 times a day instead of 3.....in other words...work it til it can't work anymore.

how ever often they want to. yes its normal. My sex drive has gone up a lot the older I get. my boyfriend was 51 and believe me he could do it more than 3 or 4 times a day.
I'm 42 and have sex much more often than we did 10 years ago, both our sex drives have gone up, alot.

You are not alone!! My husband and I have sex ALL the time and, like you, numerous times a day (usually on the weekend). It's fantastic (we are 45 now together 3 years)!! Go with it. Life is good. By the way, it's great to hear about another couple our age doing this.
There really is no answer for your question. Some people have a very high sex drive so 3, 4, 5, or more times a day is normal for them. While others have a very low sex drive so 1 or 2 times or less a month is good for them.


I say go for the gold, if it feels good do it and more power to you. Wish I had a lady that liked it that much.
You are one lucky man. We are in our early mid 40's. I will be lucky to make love once a week. The last time we make love twice in one night was a gift from santa clause. LOL!!! Consider youself lucky... Enjoy!!!!
