The imaging I can find in the BIBLE comprises LOVE, HEADSHIP/AUTHORITY, SANCTIFICATION, RESPONSIBILITY OVER THE OFFSPRING/PARENTHOOD,





LOVE: God is love; and the bond of every true marriage is love. Any marriage without Love is fake and temporal. Love endures all things.I CORINTHIANS 13:4-5

When we get in union with Christ our sins and fail is swallowed up in His blood and we Are clothed upon by His Righteousness.

Here a family (husband and wife) is a type of God and His church. EPHESIANS 5:21


21 ¶ Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.


22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.


23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
